Yeehaw, Penticton! Koe Wetzel is bringing The Night Champion World Tour to the South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday, July 10 with special guests Pecos & The Rooftops and Bayker Blankenship. Known for tearing down musical boundaries with a sound that fuses country, rock, hip-hop, and Nineties grunge, Wetzel has become one of the most electrifying and unpredictable acts in modern music.

Supporting Wetzel on this tour stop are Pecos & The Rooftops and Bayker Blankenship.

Pecos & The Rooftops
Pecos & The Rooftops are a rising Texas band known for their gritty blend of country and rock. Fronted by lead singer Pecos Hurley, the group first broke through with their viral hit “This Damn Song,” which has earned millions of streams and built a loyal fanbase.

Bayker Blankenship
Bayker Blankenship is an emerging country artist known for his raw vocals and heartfelt songwriting. Blending modern country with Southern rock influences, his music has quickly gained traction with fans and established him as a rising voice in the genre.

Tickets & Entry

  • The Valley First Box Office will open at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 10 and remain open until 9:30PM (subject to change)
  • If picking up tickets at Will Call, please bring:
    • One (1) piece of government-issued photo identification
    • A copy of your confirmation email
  • Download your mobile tickets before arriving.
  • Your confirmation email is not your ticket. Please have your mobile ticket, print-at-home ticket, or physical ticket ready for entry.

Parking
General parking is $20 (cash or card accepted) and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We encourage guests to carpool, use local taxi or ride-share services, or use public transit when possible.

Accessible parking is complimentary with a valid Accessible Parking Pass and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited.


Security & Venue Policies
Security screening will be in effect at all entry gates, including:

  • Handheld metal detector wanding
  • Bag checks
  • Security pat-downs

Please arrive early and allow extra time to complete the security screening process. Patrons may be refused entry if they are carrying prohibited items. The venue reserves the right to escort guests carrying prohibited items from the property.


Clear Bag Policy
To help ensure public safety and expedite entry, the SOEC enforces a clear bag policy.

Permitted Bags:

  • Non-clear clutch bags, belt bags, or wallets no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • Clear bags (vinyl, PVC, Ziplocs, etc) no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • Diaper bags and medically necessary items

All bags are subject to search.


Food & Beverage
Concession stands will be open throughout the event.

  • Cash and card accepted for food and beverage purchases.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Merchandise
Official merchandise will be available for purchase during the show in the BC Hockey Hall of Fame on the main concourse. Debit and credit only. Cash will not be accepted at the merchandise stand.


Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please have your valid Accessible Parking Pass ready to show SOEC parking attendants upon arrival. Spaces are limited.

Elevators
Elevators are available at:

  • Gate 1 (Main Entrance), beside the main stairwell
  • Gate 2 (Okanagan Hockey School Entrance)

Guest Services
Bobcat of Penticton Guest Services is located on the main concourse near Section 101 (up the Gate 1 stairs). Services include:

  • General inquiries
  • Reuniting lost patrons
  • Transportation information
  • Emergency assistance
  • Lost and found
  • Wheelchair and stroller storage

Accessible Washrooms
All washroom facilities at the SOEC are wheelchair accessible. A private and accessible family washroom is located on the main concourse and includes a baby change table.

Service Animals
Certified guide and service animals are permitted in the venue. Handlers may be asked to provide valid certification and/or other recognised service identification upon entry. If you require a service animal to accompany you to an event, please notify your ticket seller at the time of purchase.


Special Effects Advisory
This performance will feature:

  • Strobe lighting
  • Atmospheric effects
  • Smoke machines
  • Fog and haze effects
  • High-volume sound and bass vibrations
