RESERVE WALKING TRACK TIME SLOT

Welcome back!
After careful planning and organizing we are excited to welcome you back to the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) Walking Track. With reduced facility capacities and group sizes, enhanced cleaning protocols and patron procedures, you can walk with confidence at the SOEC this season.

Schedule/Hours:
The Walking Track will be operating under restricted hours – Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm*.
Closed on Weekends and Holidays.

** Walking track will be in operation on July 1, 2021 as the venue is open to the public as a cooling centre **

*Schedule is subject to change

Reserve Your Spot:
All guests will be required to reserve their time slot online in order to access the Walking Track at the SOEC.

  • Reservations can be made through www.valleyfirsttix.com
  • If you do not already have an account with the SOEC, you will need to create one.
  • You may not enter the building without a reservation.
  • Each individual visiting the facility must have an activity time slot reserved. (For example, families and care givers must have a time slot booked for each person attending). Maximum of 6 people per group.
  • Every Friday at 9:00am, reservations will open with available (1 hour) time slots for the following week.

Code of Conduct:
I agree to the following Code of Conduct –

    • Masks must be worn over nose and mouth at all times while in the building. Those who are medically unable to wear a mask may wear a face shield.
    • Maintain a safe physical distance at all times – at least 2 m / 6 ft.
    • Sanitize hands when entering the facility and use proper hygiene etiquette.
    • Follow all health, safety, and directional signage.
    • If I have questions or concerns, I will notify the building staff. There is a phone located at Guest Services (top of stairs at Gate 1) that I may use to call the appropriate staff. Alternatively, I may also alert the box office staff.
    • Understand that I will be asked to leave the facility if I am not adhering to and/or following the guidelines, policies, procedures and/or the core values outlined by Spectra Venue Management.
    • Jogging and running is not permitted.
    • Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before my reservation start time. Staff will be managing the check-in at the Gate 1, main entrance box office. No late admittance will be permitted.
    • Adhere to capacity limits as posted.
    • Adhere to reservation time limits and vacate the building promptly no later than 10 minutes after your reservation ends.
    • Patrons are reminded that physical distancing is each person’s responsibility and understand that if I am uncomfortable in any space, I can step away.
    • Understand it is my responsibility to ensure that anyone I’m supervising abides by this Code of Conduct.
    • Stay home when I am sick. I will not enter the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) if I have had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days; have been directed by Public Health to self-isolate, have arrived from outside of Canada within the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has.
    • Adhere to a provided pre-screening questionnaire every time I enter the building.
