DESCRIPTION:After a 20-plus city\, sold out U.S. tour\, Grammy-award winning foursome Little Big Town will extend The Breakers Tour into Canada. The highly-anticipated ten-city run begins February 14th in London\, Ontario and will conclude March 2nd in Abbotsford\, BC. All shows will feature special guests\, Midland and Jillian Jacqueline. \nGRAMMY\, ACM\, CMA\, and AMA Award-winning group\, Little Big Town — consisting of members Karen Fairchild\, Phillip Sweet\, Kimberly Schlapman\, and Jimi Westbrook — first entered the music scene over 20 years ago with hit songs “Boondocks\,” “Bring It On Home\,” “Good As Gone” and the GRAMMY-nominated “Little White Church.” Their breakthrough albums Tornado and Pain Killer produced multiple #1 singles\, including “Pontoon\,” “Tornado\,” and “Day Drinking\,” as well as the history-making\, best-selling country single of the year (2015) “Girl Crush.” Released February 24\, 2017\, Little Big Town’s last studio album\, The Breaker\, debuted #1 on the Billboard Country Charts and Top 10 (No.4) on the Billboard 200 to critical acclaim\, marking the group’s fourth Top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. DESCRIPTION:The 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships will take place March 7-17\, 2019 in Penticton\, BC and will see champions crowned in all seven CSSHL Divisions. \nThis marks the fifth consecutive year that the City of Penticton has hosted the event\, which has grown from 33 teams and 609 student athletes in 2015 to 73 teams and over 1300 student athletes in 2019. Over the past two years\, the event has generated a $5.4-million economic impact for the City of Penticton. \n“We are excited to once again partner with Spectra to bring the BDO CSSHL Championships to Penticton\,” said Kevin Goodwin\, Chief Operating Officer of the CSSHL. “The support we receive from the City of Penticton\, Travel Penticton\, BDO Canada and the Western Hockey League allows us to put on a first-class event that highlights the very best in education-based hockey\, while making a substantial economic impact to the local community.” \nTickets are $15 for a day pass\, $45 for a division pass and $60 for a full 11-day pass.
