DESCRIPTION:GEORGE THOROGOOD AND THE DESTROYERS ANNOUNCE 2018 “ROCK PARTY TOUR” IN THE U.S. AND CANADA  \nGeorge Thorogood and the Destroyers announce the continuation of their “Rock Party Tour” into 2018 in the U.S. and Canada\, starting April 13 in Lincoln\, Rhode Island\, through May 12 in Coquitlam\, British Columbia\, with additional dates forthcoming.  The group is also donating proceeds from their “Rock Party Tour” to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Opening for George at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton is Damon Flower.  \nEarlier this year\, George Thorogood’s first-ever solo album\, PARTY OF ONE\, landed in the Top 10 on Soundscan’s “Top Current Blues Albums” chart\, marking George’s fastest-selling album in nearly 20 years.
