This newly formed project has taken 18 months to produce and is set to launch this September in Canada; Creating the 2015 Canadian National Arenacross Tour presented by Royal Distributing.  It is currently an 8 round Professional Arenacross series\, which includes an East and West Amateur National Arenacross Championship. Pro Arenacross riders compete for a total cash payout of over $60\,000. With over 20 Amateur classes race for their share of $25\,000 of trophies\, prizes and series awards. \n“Anticipation is high with this new project\,” says Jetwerx CEO Justin Thompson.  “We have been involved in this for a long time having done over 200 events all over the world and having partnered with a variety of leading industry and corporate brands. DESCRIPTION:To mark just over 100 days to go until the Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games the symbolic flame will be lit that will welcome up to 2\,000 participants to the community.  \nOrganizers and civic dignitaries invite the community to join in a spirited celebration in the countdown to the Opening Ceremony. \nThe official Torch Lighting Ceremony will be held Thursday\, Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. outside of the South Okanagan Events Centre on the plaza. Spectators will be treated to a variety of local entertainment\, including Gypsy and the Rose Band\, Beamer Wigley\, Nikita Afonso\, Outma Sqilx’W Cultural School Children’s Choir\, Queen’s Park Choir\, Keremeos Drummers\, Fiddlekids with Balkey Irish Dancers\, Black Widow Rope Spinners and more! \n“The Torch Lighting Ceremony is a major milestone in the lead-up to Penticton’s event\, marking just over 100 days until the 2016 BC Winter Games officially begin\,” said President Bill Bidlake. “Come join the excitement as we light the official cauldron that will welcome and inspire athletes from all over the province.”\n“The countdown to the 2016 BC Winter Games begins with the lighting of the torch\,” Penticton MLA Dan Ashton said. “I enthusiastically join Penticton residents in their excitement about the Games\, which will be a great\, unifying force for our city and a showcase for B.C.’s top young athletes.” \nThe BC Winter Games showcase BC’s best young developing athletes. The BC Winter Games provide a unique opportunity for athletes to experience provincial competition in a multi-sport Games setting\, taking the first step towards the national and international stage. Competition will take place over four days in 17 sports such as badminton\, biathlon\, basketball\, curling\, diving\, figure skating\, gymnastics\, judo\, karate\, skiing and speed skating\, plus more.  \nThe Torch Lighting Ceremony will be held in the southwest parking lot of the South Okanagan Events Centre (the lot between the flag poles and Alberni Street). Vehicles are asked to enter the site from the Vees Drive roundabout. A barbecue will be held starting at 5:30 p.m.\, with the official program start at 6:30 p.m. \nVolunteers needed\nApproximately 2\,000 volunteers will be involved with the Games – and a variety of roles are available. Hockey club Red Bull Salzburg (Under-20 team) will be coming to the South Okanagan in late January\, as part of a BCHL exhibition tour by the Austrian club’s youth team. Doors open at 6:00 PM. \nthe last time an international club came through the BCHL was in the 2009-10 season when the Malmo Redhawks of Sweden played in Powell River\, Alberni Valley and Nanaimo. In 2008-09\, the Sweden U18 side featuring Colorado Avalanche Captain Gabriel Landeskog played a series of exhibition games against BCHL teams. \nThe Red Bull Salzburg club\, like the BCHL teams they’ll face\, will include players born anywhere from 1995 to 1999. DESCRIPTION:MULTI PLATINUM singer/songwriter KIP MOORE will headline the 2016 WILD ONES TOUR with dates in Canada this winter.  Moore\, who has built one of country music’s most loyal audiences show by show\, will hit Calgary\, Edmonton\, Penticton and Abbotsford. \nMoore will perform tracks from his sophomore album WILD ONES (MCA Nashville).  A super-sized record caught somewhere between blue-collar country music and stadium-sized rock & roll\, each song on the 13-track disc was written by Moore.  Most were born on the road and recorded during “time off” from playing more than 200 shows a year. \n“My favorite part of this crazy life we have is playing live\,” said Moore. “We’ve been playing so many of these new songs in the live show because we road-tested them night after night before recording what became the final album.   They were a huge part in helping me formulate what WILD ONES became…we are a tribe.
