DESCRIPTION:The Penticton Vees will host the Wenatchee Wild for the Annual TEDDY BEAR TOSS on Saturday\, December 8th at 6:00PM\, presented by CUPE Penticton. \nThis year\, Teddy Bear Toss is expanding to include pyjamas\, toques\, scarves\, mittens\, diapers and other soft items – Anything to help families in need this chilly holiday season. When the Vees score their first goal of the game\, toss your items on the ice!  \nSalvation Army Penticton and PetSmart will be on site selling pyjamas and teddy bears for those who weren’t able to pick something up before the game.  \nPlease be sure that all items are soft\, lightweight and don’t contain hard parts that could harm the players on the ice at the time of the toss. Clothing and stuffed animals can be new or gently used. All items will be collected by the local Salvation Army branch and delivered to families within the South Okanagan. \n*Additional fees apply online.\n**Does not apply to premium seating. DESCRIPTION:Freestyle Motocross (FMX) World Tour is riding its way into Penticton for an action-packed night at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday\, February 2nd at 6:00 p.m. \nFMX World Tour is an extreme action sport competition formed to tour Canada\, USA\, Mexico and select European countries. Its roots and history began in the 1990’s and has since challenged riders around the world to go bigger and higher each year. \nIn February\, watch professional riders participate in an intense competition by throwing out some of the most death defying tricks ever seen in FMX. DESCRIPTION:Grammy nominated Danish band Volbeat confirms seventeen new tour dates with Godsmack throughout the U.S. and Canada in April and May of 2019 with a stop in Penticton\, BC on Saturday\, April 27\, 2019.  The tour will kick off with a string of dates in U.S as special guests to Godsmack before the pair embark on a cross-country co-headline tour of Canada (full dates below). DESCRIPTION:The Gord Bamford Foundation is hosting its first annual Pics & Sticks Charity event\, presented by Kubota Canada Ltd & Gerard’s Equipment of Oliver\, BC\, which includes a charity hockey game: Edmonton Oilers Alumni versus The Alumni on Wednesday\, May 15\, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Hosted by Gord Bamford and Kevin Primeau the event gives people the chance to play alongside NHL alumni like Glenn Anderson\, Chris Joseph\, Marty McSorley\, Ron Lowe and country music stars like Gord Bamford\, Dallas Smith\, Aaron Pritchett and Chad Brownlee. \nIn partnership with the South Okanagan Youth Foundation the event will give back to local and British Columbia charities including Children’s Miracle Network\, Make-A-Wish Foundation British Columbia\, Basic for Babies\, and of course\, the area’s minor hockey associations. \nThe event is the perfect mix of sport and music\, two things that everyone can enjoy.
